CRJO Bin Trim Networks Program 2024-2026

The CRJO Bin Trim Network program offers free waste assessments to businesses in the following sectors: healthcare facilities, aged care facilities, early learning centres, charities and the local clubs. The program focus is food waste, plastics and textiles and aims to improve resource recovery and reduce the volumes of waste created.

If your business wants to participate in the program please email: bintrim@crjo.nsw.gov.au. The assessments will be delivered between July 2024 and December 2025. An example of a previous Bin Trim project outcome delivered by the CRJO can be found here.

Participating businesses can be eligible for Bin Trim Equipment rebates covering up to 50% of the capital cost of small-scale on-site recycling equipment or technology up to $50,000. The Bin Trim Networks Program is part of the NSW Government’s Waste and Sustainable Materials Strategy backed by $356 million of funding over five years.
